inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) is preparing to commemorate the 79th Bhayangkara Day which is planned to be hugely celebrated in the National Monument (Monas) area, Jakarta, on July 1, 2025. A number of series of activities have been held since the beginning of June ahead of the 79th Bhayangkara Day.

During the peak ceremony in Monas, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, will lead the ceremony as the Ceremony Inspector.

In addition to the implementation of the ceremony, the 79th Bhayangkara Day will also be celebrated with a parade of INP tactical vehicles, as well as a troop parade involving the mobilization of personnel and equipment on a large scale. This mobilization is expected to have a temporary impact on traffic flow around the Monas area and its surroundings.

Thus, Head of Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, asked for the public's understanding that there would be increased traffic activity and density leading up to and during the day of the event.

"We apologize and ask for the public's understanding for the potential traffic activity that may occur as a result of the event. INP is committed to maintaining the smoothness and security of all citizens," said Trunoyudo in his statement on Wednesday (6/25/2025).

He added that the commemoration of Bhayangkara Day is not just an institutional ceremony, but also a form of reflection and accountability of INP for the people.

"Bhayangkara Day belongs to the people of Indonesia. We strive to make this moment a form of institutional accountability to the public, that we will continue to improve and serve wholeheartedly," he added.

He also added that in accordance with the commitment of the Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, on the commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the police will give their best, in line with the theme of this year's celebration, namely "the police for the community".
