Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC climbed to fourth place in the Super League standings on Friday (17/4/2026) after overcoming a first-half deficit to defeat PSIM Yogyakarta 2-1 at the Sumpah Pemuda Stadium in Bandarlampung.
"The players showed incredible character to maintain pressure throughout the second half and secure these vital three points at home," said Paul Munster, the Head Coach of Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC, following the final whistle, as reported by antaranews.com.
PSIM initially took control when Savio Sheva scored in the 9th minute, maintaining a lead until halftime despite relentless attacks from Bhayangkara’s frontline. However, the hosts equalized in the 50th minute through Nehar Sadiki, who expertly converted a free kick from Moussa Sidibe.
The momentum shifted entirely five minutes later as Sidibe turned scorer, clinicaly finishing a pass from Moises to seal the victory. A late equalizer by PSIM's Vidal was overturned by VAR for offside, leaving the visitors in ninth place while Bhayangkara solidified their top-four contention with 47 points.
