Inp.polri.go.id - Gresik.Defending champions Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi took a decisive step toward the PLN Mobile Proliga 2026 Final Four after sweeping Surabaya Samator 3-0 (25-20, 26-24, 25-12) on Sunday (1/2/1016). 

The victory at GOR Tri Dharma stadium cemented Bhayangkara’s second-place standing with 10 points, while the youthful Samator squad remains in third with 5 points.

The match reached its climax in the second set, where Samator led 18-16 before Bhayangkara’s veteran experience flipped the script during a tense 24-24 deuce. 

After winning the set 26-24, the "Police Team" unleashed a relentless assault in the third, capitalizing on Samator's crumbling composure to win 25-12. The final frame saw a brief flash of tension between Bhayangkara’s Randy Tamamilang and Samator’s Lyvan Taboada, though Randy dismissed the heat as standard competitive fire.

"Our players executed the plan perfectly. We didn't want to drop a single set like we did in the first meeting," said Bhayangkara coach Reidel Toiran, as cited by antaranews.com 

With only three matches left in the second round, Bhayangkara is now arguably the favorite to secure their playoff spot when the league moves to Malang next week.
