Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police held the Bhayangkara Scooter Days 2025 on Sunday (6/7/2025), gathering over 2,000 scooter enthusiasts to celebrate the 79th Bhayangkara Anniversary and raise awareness about road safety and safety riding
The event, held at the Traffic Directorate Field of Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, served as both a community gathering and a public campaign on traffic discipline.
“We truly appreciate the enthusiasm of the participants. This is not just a community event but a platform for promoting traffic safety. We hope scooter lovers will become role models for road discipline,” said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto during his remarks, as quoted by antaranews.com
He emphasized that the event reflects the Indonesian National Police (INP)’s humanist approach, aiming to strengthen the bond between police and the public.
“We want to be closer to the community. We welcome feedback, suggestions, and even criticism—so we can continue to improve and be more loved by the people,” Chief Karyoto added.
Beyond scooter convoys and entertainment, the event also featured public education on traffic safety and police public service booths. Local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) added vibrancy by selling food, drinks, and automotive merchandise—boosting the local economy during the festivities.
