Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Young duo Christian Steven Refliano Oktavianus and Hebert Peter Arthur Runtu pulled off a stunning victory to win the boys’ doubles title at the 2025 Indonesian National Police Chief (Kapolri) Cup Badminton Championship, held at the Jakarta State University (UNJ) Sports Hall on Saturday.

Representing Gideon Badminton Academy, they defeated Ghiyar Nadhif Jentonio and Miracle Vachristo from Exist Badminton Club in straight games, 21–19, 21–19, as reported by antaranews.com on Sunday (6/7/2025).

The victory is even more impressive considering Steven and Hebert had only been paired for the past two months. Despite limited experience playing together, the pair showed remarkable composure and teamwork, especially during crucial moments.
