Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Chief, Petrus Reinhard Golose inaugurates Ant-Drug Museum which located in the third floor of the BNN head office in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
“This morning we inaugurate Anti-Drug Museum and it shown our prevail against narcotics, BNN and related stakeholders prevails in our war against narcotics,” says Petrus on Monday (10/30/2023).
The museum, which was initiated by BNN Chief, is named Pranidha Ranajaya Ghanavara. The name means ‘a place which represents BNN in their prevail against drugs’.
According to him, the museum marks the first anti-drug museum in Indonesia in ASEAN.
Petrus then says that the museum was meant for providing info of Indonesian history in their war against drugs and how BNN overcome it.
The museum will also continuously renew their artifacts and documents in efforts to provide latest news and Indonesia achievements in preventing drug crimes.
“We took smart museum concept which means we will keep updating our museum. The museum will not only contain artefacts but also documents which shows the history pre-BNN until present time. This will be the perfect learning place for our youths,” says Petrus.
The museum is officially open for public beginning on October 30th, 2023. The building construction involved all BNN elements, which those elements then curated into of artifacts and ornaments of artistic value with arrangements that are full of historical value.
The museum is a mix of digital museum which will show videos and photos of BNN along with its artefacts. Currently, the museum showcases 457 artefacts.
