Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Officers from Battalion D Pioneer of the Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Unit under the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Policehosted an educational program for Presiden Kindergarten students at the Battalion D Firing Range on Thursday (15/10/2026) to introduce the police profession.

Metro Jaya Police Brimob Commander Senior Superintendent Henik Maryanto said that the initiative aimed to build trust, foster discipline, and teach children about public safety using an engaging, accessible approach.

"This introduction is expected to broaden the children's insights while growing their understanding of the importance of safety, discipline, and the police's role in protecting and assisting the community," he said.

During the interactive event, officers demonstrated various uniforms, including camouflage field uniforms and tactical suits, and explained special Brimob duties, such as riot control, counter-terrorism, explosives disposal, and search and rescue (SAR) operations. 

Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto highlighted the visit as part of the force's humanistic community-policing approach.
