inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The State Logistics Agency (Bulog) ensures the distribution of Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) rice throughout Indonesia. The focus of distribution is in areas with rice prices above the Highest Retail Price (HET).

Head of Institutional Relations of Bulog, Epi Sulandari, said that several areas have infrastructure constraints and high distribution costs. However, Bulog continues to work with the local Food Service to reach distribution points.

"For areas with fairly high rice prices above the Highest Retail Price (HET), the first is areas that usually have their own infrastructure difficulties, followed with the high cost in distribution," she said on Friday (1/17/2025).

On his occasion, she said that until January 11th, 2025, the realization of SPHP had reached 9,367 tons of rice throughout Indonesia. The largest distribution was carried out in DKI Jakarta and Banten through the Bulog Task Force and local government cheap markets.

At the end of the opportunity, Epi said that the amount was only 6.24 percent of the January budget that had been successfully distributed to the community. Bulog is optimistic that the demand for SPHP will increase every day to maintain price stability at the retail level.
