Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  State logistics agency Bulog has confirmed its readiness to purchase all corn planted by the Indonesian National Police (INP) as part of the government’s strategy to achieve national corn self-sufficiency.

“Bulog is ready to absorb all corn produced by Polri,” said Bulog CEO Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani on Wednesday (1/10/2025), emphasizing that the initiative strengthens national food security and demonstrates the government’s commitment to relying on domestic production.

The announcement follows the Joint Corn Harvest in late September 2025 at Bunga Mayang, South Sumatra, attended by INP Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, and National Food Agency (Bapanas) Head Arief Prasetyo Adi.

Rizal highlighted that the government, under President Prabowo Subianto, guarantees minimum corn prices for farmers, Rp5,500/kg for 18–20% moisture and Rp6,400/kg for 14% moisture, under the Corn Procurement and Distribution policy. 

Bulog has already procured 76,900 tons of domestic corn and maintains 72,000 tons in stock, ensuring stable supply and prices nationwide.
