Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Canada Premier Justin Trudeau applaud Jokowi’s leadership who could gather and unite the world in Post-COVID era. Trudeau states that he remembers Indonesia’s leadership in G20 last year just after the world recover from the pandemic. He said that Jokowi managed to handle the crisis that shock the world during that period. “I could not forget how capable you are in leading last year’s G20 through difficult times. Indonesia shows their capacity in gathering the world and facing prominent issue,” said Trudeau in Istana Merdeka, Jakarta, Tuesday (9/5/2023). Moreover, Trudeau is sure that Indonesia will show the same capability in leading ASEAN. He also thanked Jokowi for inviting Canada as ASEAN strategic partner. He said the cooperation with ASEAN is vital for the economy of Canada.
