Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police held joint patrols under the “Jaga Jakarta” (Guard Jakarta) program on Sunday (21/9/2025) to strengthen public safety and prevent potential disturbances in the capital’s central districts.
“Through Jaga Jakarta patrols, we want to be present not only as law enforcers but also as friends of the community,” Central Jakarta Police Chief Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro said, as reported by antaranews.com.
The mobile patrols, involving 23 officers from local police and East Kalimantan Mobile Brigade (Brimob), covered key areas including Senen, Kramat Raya, Cikini, Imam Bonjol, and Bundaran HI.
Officers delivered safety messages, encouraged vigilance, and urged residents to report suspicious activities. No major incidents were recorded, with the situation deemed secure and orderly.
Police stressed that the initiative aims to build public trust, ensuring residents feel both safe and accompanied. The program is part of intensified weekend and night patrols, focusing on areas vulnerable to unrest.
