Inp.polri.go.id – Central Java. Transportation Policy Agency (BKT) of Transportation Ministry states Central Java has become the favourite destination for 2024 Eid homecoming. According to BKT's survey, there are at least 193.6 million of people are participating in the homecoming season. "Highest chosen destination is Central Java with 61.6 million people, followed by East Java with 36.7 million people, and West Java with 32.1 million people," says Head of BKT Robby Kurniawan in an online press conference on Sunday (3/17/2024). Meanwhile, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi relays that 2024 homecoming is growing 14.6% than last year. Furthermore, Budi ensures that in welcoming the homecoming season, his party prepares both in operational and in regulation on regulating policies, transportations, and comprehensive handling with related institutions. "Comprehensive handling with central government institutions, regional government, Indonesian National Police, private companies, State Owned Enterprises and Regional Owned Enterprises," said Budi.
