The South Sumatra Regional Police Traffic Director, Senior Superintendent M Pratama Adhyasastra inspects the traffic operation for the two vehicles and four vehicles at Soekarno Hatta Street on Sunday (3/17/2024). Pratama along with Palembang Sub-regional Police Traffic Unit Head, Superintendent Yenni Diarty directly went to the location to follow up the reports from the public regarding illegal racing. “Today's security operation is to act against an activity that violates traffic law and public security in Palembang City,” said Pratama. South Sumatra Traffic Directorate conveys that by conducting traffic operations, they are able to suppress the number of traffic law violations and accidents. “With this operation, we hope that it would prevent illegal racing who constantly disturb our peaceful community. Then, we will also act against vehicles who used loud exhaust as that also disturbs public serenity,” conclude Pratama. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
