Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Central Java Regional Police have arrested six debt collectors involved in intimidating and forceful seizure. "There are six individuals from two groups who have been arrested for using the method of forcibly seizing vehicles, accompanied by intimidation and physical assault," stated Police Senior Superintendent Johanson Simamora, the Director of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate on Wednesday (15/11/23). He added that four other individuals, including two company directors providing debt collecting services, are still at large. The suspects face charges under Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution and Article 363 concerning theft. "They forcibly towed vehicles at the victim's residence," he said.
