Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police have implemented a traffic engineering plan to prevent congestion during Coldplay's performance at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Main Stadium in Central Jakarta today (15/11/23). "We have employed a situational traffic engineering plan," said Police Senior Superintendent Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police's Public Relations, on Wednesday (15/11/23). He urged Coldplay concertgoers to refrain from bringing private vehicles to GBK and instead opt for public transport, stating, "We urge people to use public transport. All spectators should disembark at doors 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10." The traffic engineering plan includes the following measures: 1. Traffic from Jalan Gatot Subroto heading to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda will be directed to Slipi. 2. Traffic from Slipi will be directed to Semanggi, preventing access to Ladokgi Layang towards Jalan Gerbang Pemuda. 3. Traffic flow from the Senayan roundabout towards Jalan Pintu Satu Senayan will be directed straight to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman towards Semanggi. 4. Traffic from Jalan Mustopo towards Jalan Asia Afrika will be directed to turn right towards Jalan Hang Tuang Raya. 5. Traffic from Jalan Patal Senayan 1 heading towards Jalan Asia Afrika will be diverted to the left towards Jalan Tentara Pelajar. 6. Traffic from Jalan Tentara Pelajar towards Jalan Patal Senayan will be directed straight to Jalan Permata Hijau. 6. Traffic flow from Menggala Wanabakti towards Jalan Gelora will be directed to Jalan Tentara Pelajar. (ar/ay/hn/nm)
