Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Central Java Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, expressed condolences for the on-duty four police officers who passed away during the 2024 elections.
"I extend my deepest condolences for the four personnel who have passed away, including one military personnel, one community protection member, and two polling station organizerss," he said on Monday (19/2/2024).
Chief Luthfi said that the core stages of the 2024 Elections have proceeded safely and smoothly, praising the joint security forces efforts to secure the voting process.
"This success is not attributed to one person alone but to all personnel involved," he emphasized.
However, Chief Luthfie said that the security operations for the 2024 elections are not yet concluded. Under Operation Mantab Brata Candi, he noted, security measures will continue until the inauguration of the president and vice president.
"Continue to employ persuasive approaches to avoid any unrest from those dissatisfied with the election results," he said, calling on the dissatisfied to express their opinions peacefully and orderly.
