North Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police adds more personnel for the follow-up voting on 24th February, 2024 at 18 polling stations. “We have to add more personnel as there are also additional polling stations for the follow-up vote, from 17 polling stations to 18 polling stations,” quote North Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Gidion Arif Setyawan from Antara on Monday (2/19/2024). Gidion reveals that initially his party deployed 250 personnel for 17 polling stations. Now, his unit will add five more personnel as there are now 18 polling stations have to be secured. “Now, in total there are 255 personnel tasked for the 18 polling stations security,” said Gidion. According to Gidion, his party is ready to secure the election repeat vote, from its logistics distribution to the voting process. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
