Central Java Police Deploys Thousands Personnel to Secure U-17 World Cup Matches

Inp.polri.go.id – Central Java. Central Java Regional Police prepares 1,300 personnel to secure the U-17 World Cup Round of 16 at Manahan Stadium, Surakarta City. The rally was held at Surakarta Police HQ, led by the Special Criminal Investigation Director Grand Commissioner Dwi Subagio. Central Java Police PR Chief, Grand Commissioner Satake Bayu Setianto states that his party have prepares their personnel as soon as possible so that the match security would be going smoothly without any significant disturbance. He adds that security personnel have their own security tasks such as securities on ticket checking, ticket validation, look-out and patrols around the stadium, also public and special area security. “Personnel have been moved to Manahan Stadium after the rally to fill out their posts,” said Satake quoted from Antara on Monday (11/20/2023). He says that the U-17 World Cup Round of 16 in Surakarta would attract many eyes, which led local security to prepare for tighter security than the previous matches. Satake asked for the support from all community elements for the success of U-17 World Cup at Manahan Stadium. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
