Criminal Investigation Unit of Indonesian National Police (INP) reveals dozens of witnesses have been examined in uncovering the case of hoax spreading by Rocky Gerung (RG). The Director of Criminal Unit of Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro states that the examinations were held after the case status was advanced into investigation. The dozens of witnesses comprising those of regular individuals to expert. “From the 26 police reports, we have examined 61 witnesses,” says Djuhandani to reporters on Monday (11/20/2023). According to him, investigators is still gathering evidence, which makes them unable to summon RG for the time being. “Not yet, we are still investigating the case,” says Djuhandani. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
