Central Sulawesi Police Held the First Bodybuilding Competition for the First Time

inp.polri.go.id - Still celebrating the 76th Bhayangkara Day, Central Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Drs. Rudy Sufahriadi, held an open tournament bodybuilding contest 2022 in Palu City. The first bodybuilding tournament in Central Sulawesi was held at a café in Palu, Sunday (7/25). The head of the organizing committee, Jemmy Simangungsong, said the tournament was also to search a new talent, especially those who are interested in the world of Bodybuilding Fitness. "There are at least four categories that will be contested, including the Men's fitness category, Men's Sport, Men's athletics, and the TNI-Polri category which is dedicated only to TNI and Polri personnel," said Jemmy. Meanwhile, the head of the Central Sulawesi Bodybuilding Fitness Indonesia (PBFI) Association, Wijaya Candra, expressed his appreciation for the event. He felt that those activity is a step forward for PBFI Central Sulawesi. "We are very supportive and ready to be a jury in this event. Hopefully we can make a new Central Sulawesi athletes in the future," said Wijaya Candra when asked about this event. Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Police Commissioner Didik Supranoto, S.I.K, said that the organization of the body contest was an agenda to commemorate the 76th Bhayangkara Day in 2022. He also explained that the activity would be attended by Indonesian bodybuilder, I Gusti Rai Kusuma Yudha, or commonly known as Ade Rai. "We hope that through this event the community and the police will become much closer than ever, to jointly maintain a conducive situation in Central Sulawesi," said the Head of Public Relations.
