Inp.polri.go.id – Central Sulawesi. Central Sulawesi Regional Police provides their helicopyer Bell 429/P-302 to pick up election logistics in Watu Bamba, Taronggo Village, Central Sulawesi. "The pick up with Indonesian National Police helicopter was to accelerate the distribution from the Voting Committee to the North Bungku District Election Committee. The Watu Bamba Polling Stations are one polling station who has to follow-up vote due to logistic distribution lateness,” said Central Sulawesi PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Djoko Wienartono on Saturday (2/17/2024). It was reported that the lateness on logistic distribution was due to tough terrain and a 70 km distance that can only be accessed through foot. During its distribution there are two members who were injured and cannot continue to distribute the logistics. “The vote and vote recapitulation on this vulnerable polling station were just began on Friday (2/16/2024), and thankfully it has been going smoothly. And now, for its distribution to the District Election Committee, we lend our hand to distribute it through helicopter,” explained Djoko. Moreover, Djoko reaffirmed that the police is committed to lend their hands if there are any issues on the field that could hinder the election process. Police determined to see the election go smoothly and successfully. (ad/rz/pr/nm)
