inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Ahmad Sahroni, believes that the transfer of 88 high-ranking and mid-ranking officers within the Indonesian National Police (INP) can strengthen the performance of the police institution. These changes are expected to improve professionalism and the quality of service to the public.

Sahroni stated that Commission III of the DPR RI supports the steps taken by INP Chief General Suyudi Ario Seto to revitalize the organization. He stated that the transfer policy has been thoroughly considered and aligned with the institution's needs.

"I am confident that these transfers are being implemented to strengthen and further optimize the performance of INP in the future," Sahroni said in Jakarta on Sunday (10/4/2026).

The legislator in charge of legal affairs hopes that the newly appointed officers will be able to carry out their duties professionally and be responsive to various security challenges.

He also hopes that the new ranks of INP can strengthen the police force's role in protecting, serving, and serving the public amidst increasingly diverse security issues.

Previously, INP transferred and rotated 88 high-ranking officers and mid ranking officers one day after Police General Suyudi Ario Seto was officially appointed as INP Chief.

The transfers were outlined in the INP Chief's Telegram Letter Number ST/2205/X/KEP./2026, dated October 2, 2026. The job changes covered several strategic positions at the INP Headquarters and regional police levels.

Of the 88 personnel transferred, 70 received promotions or assumed new positions. The changes also included 14 senior officials at INP Headquarters and 19 regional police chief positions.
