Inp.polri.go.id – Kupang. Mantap Brata Operation Personnel of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) patrols around the vulnerable areas in Kupang City on Thursday (12/14/2023). The patrol led by Investigation Sub-Task Force Chief, Police Commissioner Adjutant Gregorius L. Saunoah. Places patrolled by police are NTT Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Office and NTT General Election Commission (KPU) Office. The patrol was to prevent security and safety disturbances that potentially could disrupt the election process. Patrols also aimed to provide sense of safety and security to the public amidst the election atmosphere. Gregorius states that the patrol is a concrete initiative by NTT Regional Police in realizing conducive environment during election and to also ensure a stronger cooperation and active communication with Bawaslu and KPU staffs. During the patrol, police also conveyed security messages while providing security service as a display of high commitment for election safety and security. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
