inp.polri.go.id - Yogyakarta. In an effort to maintain public order and security, the Yogyakarta Regional Police successfully confiscated 1,672 bottles of alcoholic beverages during a week-long Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD) program during Phase II of Operation Liquor on Monday (7/14/2025).
The confiscated evidence consisted of various types, including 889 bottles of class A liquor, 462 bottles of class B liquor, 119 bottles of class C liquor, 39 bottles of Balinese arak, and 153 bottles of mixed liquor.
The Head of Public Relations of the Yogyakarta Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ihsan stated that this operation demonstrates the Yogyakarta Regional Police's commitment to continuously eradicating the distribution of illegal liquor throughout the region.
"We continue to strive to prevent the distribution of illegal liquor because its impacts are very detrimental, both in terms of health and potential security disturbances. We will continue this operation to create a safe, comfortable, and orderly Yogyakarta," stated Ihsan.
The Yogyakarta Regional Police urge the public not to consume or distribute alcoholic beverages without official permits and to actively report suspicious activity in their communities.
Similar operations will continue to be conducted to reduce crime rates fueled by alcohol abuse.
