Criminal Rate and Traffic Incident is in Decline: INP

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police there is a decline in criminal case counting from 12-13 September. “Generally, the disturbances are in decline of 146 cases from 12th of September to 13th of September or 7.82%. On Tuesday, there were 1,867 criminal cases while on Wednesday there were 1,721 cases,” said The Head of the Public Affairs Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan. From those cases, Ramadhan said there are five most prominent criminal cases, which are aggravated theft with 149 cases, followed by drugs criminal case with 146 cases, motorbike theft with 48 cases, gambling with 14 cases, and 15 cases of robbery with violence. Other than criminal cases, Ramadhan also reveals there are 361 traffic incident that occurs on September 13th 2023, which also in decline for 30 cases from yesterday. “In detail, from the 361 cases, there are 32 loss of lives, with 46 suffered heavy injury and 319 others with mild injury. The incident cause material losses totaling IDR 591,201,000,” report Ramadhan.
