Inp.polri.go.id – Papua. The Task Force of Damai Cartenz Ops have arrested another member of Armed Criminal Group (KKB) named Epson Nirigi at Hotel Lavela In, Mimika City. Police Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani, as the Head of Damai Cartenz Ops explained that the arrest was executed when the suspect was attending the vote recapitulation meeting in Jita District, Central Papua. Furthermore, police revealed that the suspect acts as the ammunition and gun supplier to Egianus Kogoya KKB. Epson is an active member of Ndugama Kodap III of Egianus Kogoya KKB. “The suspect is 35 years of age and lived in Noema Village, Jita District. Currently Epson Nirigi has been secured at Damai Cartenz Ops Task Force Post in Mimika for further examination,” said Faizal on Wednesday (2/21/2024). Faizal adds that Epson Nirigi has been listed in the Wanted List of Nduga Sub-regional Police since 2023. He was known to live in Mimika Regency and works as Speed Boat Operator/ Damai Cartenz Ops PR Chief, Superintendent Bayu Suseno adds that Epson Nirigi acts as guns and ammunitions supplier for KKB. Moreover, he explains that the arrest began with a report from the public who said that the suspect was attending the vote recapitulation process in Hotel Lavela In.
