The Deputy Head of Damai Cartenz Public Relations Task Force, Police Assistant Superintendent Yusuf Tauziri invites media colleagues to break Ramadan fast together in effort to maintain good relationship between the two parties. “This activity is a medium for us to build strong relationships. Regarding the cooperation in reporting the news for Damai Cartenz activities, it is part of our joint effort to improve it,” said Yusuf. The role of media in Damai Cartenz Task Force is to further inform the public that the task force is committed to resolve the conflict in Papua. This move, on the other hand, also indirectly helps the development in Papua. Media also helps give a positive impact for Damai Cartenz Ops as they are able to arrest each of the Armed Criminal Group members. Following breaking the fast together, Yusuf conveys his gratitude to the media for the support given to the police in giving the information to the Papuan community and in maintaining a safe and conducive situation.
