inp.polri.go.id - Puncak Jaya. Personnel from the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force conducted a foot patrol in Muara District, Puncak Jaya Regency, on Sunday (7/26/2026). In addition to monitoring the security situation, the patrol served as a platform for dialogue with the community to gather information about the situation in the area and community daily activities.

During the patrol, personnel greeted residents along the route and discussed the public order and security situation in their neighborhoods. They also urged the community to maintain security and not hesitate to report any potential disturbances.

A friendly atmosphere was evident when several children approached personnel giving snacks. The personnel took the time to chat and interact with the children, while parents nearby smiled.

The patrol then continued with monitoring at several points in Muara District. By the end of the patrol, community activities were proceeding as usual, and the security situation in the area was observed to be conducive.

The Head of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation, Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, stated that patrols are part of efforts to maintain security while also building direct communication with the community.

"The presence of personnel in the field is not only to carry out security duties, but also to hear firsthand about the conditions faced by the community. Dialogues like this are an important part of carrying out our duties," said Faizal.
