Inp.polri.go.id - Timika. The Damai Cartenz Task Force demonstrated its commitment to Papuan youth education by distributing 500 school bags and learning kits to elementary school students in Pomako, Mimika Regency, Central Papua, on Thursday (1/10/2026).
Led by Operational Support Task Force Commander Senior Superintendent Bambang Widiatmoko and Deputy Chief of Public Relations Superintendent Andria, personnel delivered 200 bags to SD Pigapu elementary school and 300 bags to SD Negeri Satu Atap Pomako elementary school.
Principals Juwita Marice Meryam Bieths of SD Pigapu and Sofyan Hadi of SD Negeri Satu Atap Pomako said that the presence of the task force provided both essential educational support and a reassuring sense of community security.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Commander Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani said that the initiative reflects the task force's community-oriented approach to fostering direct, positive engagement in Papua.
Damai Cartenz Task Force Deputy Head Senior Superintendent Adarma Sinaga added that investing in basic educational tools helps build confidence and long-term opportunities for young Papuan students pursuing their future goals.
