Inp.polri.go.id - Timika. The Damai Cartenz Task Force has named seven suspects placed on the wanted list following the murder of American pilot Captain Nicholas F. Goselin and the destruction of a PT Associated Mission Aviation (AMA) aircraft at Balinggama Airstrip, Sobaham District, Yahukimo Regency.

"The case exposes seven individuals as suspects, namely MB, AB, LS, DA, NS, KB, and SP," Senior Superintendent Era Adhinata, the Damai Cartenz Task Force Head of Law Enforcement, said on Wednesday (8/7/2026). "The suspects are charged with murder and endangering aviation safety, carrying a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison."

Chief Era Adhinata and Damai Cartenz Task Force Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Yusuf Sutejo announced the findings in details during a press conference.

Forensic investigators conducted a scene investigation, recovering a 5.56 mm shell casing and logging a 90% destruction rate on the Pilatus PC-6 aircraft. A subsequent sweep revealed an armed criminal group (KKB) headquarters containing military gear and documents.
