Inp.polri.go.id - Puncak. Officers from the Damai Cartenz Task Force carried out foot patrols and secured Christian worship services in Puncak Regency on Monday (8/6/2026), focusing on Bukit Sion Church and Santa Elizabeth Church to provide safety and comfort for congregations.

“Securing places of worship is part of our service to ensure people can pray peacefully without security concerns,” said Damai Cartenz Task Force Commander Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani.

Damai Cartenz Deputy Commander Senior Superintendent  Adarma Sinaga added that humanist approaches remain central to operations. 

“Through patrols and worship security, personnel not only safeguard but also build closeness with the community,” he said.

The activities proceeded safely and orderly, reinforcing trust between police and residents. Damai Cartenz Task Force continue to prioritize preventive and humanist measures to maintain stability across Papua.
