Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)'s anti-terrorism team of Special Detachment 88 (Densus 88) arrested 27 people suspected of terrorism by the Anshor Daulah group in three provinces on Friday (27/10/2023).
Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the Head of the INP's Public Information Office, told reporters that the 27 suspects were arrested in Jakarta, West Java and Central Sulawesi.
"The 27 people are members of the Anshor Daulah (AD) group," he said.
The spokesperson said the suspects were members of the Anshor Daulah terrorist group, which supports the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS).
Since 2 October 2023, Densus 88 anti-terrorism team has been actively enforcing the law against suspected terrorists.
