Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s counterterrorism unit, Densus 88, maintained a zero terrorist attack record throughout 2025, demonstrating sustained national security efforts.
“Densus 88 has preserved the zero terrorist attack status from 2023 to 2025 through proactive law enforcement measures,” the INP Head of Criminal Investigation Agency Commissioner General Syahardiantono said at the INP Year-End Briefing on Tuesday (30/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
The achievement was supported by arrests of 147 suspects in 2023, 55 in 2024, and 51 in 2025, effectively reducing threats and ensuring national stability.
Key operations in 2025 included dismantling a radicalization network targeting 110 children across 23 provinces, foiling four planned attacks by Anshor Daulah, arresting seven suspects during Christmas and New Year security operations, and handling 68 minors exposed to extremist ideologies via TCC-affiliated groups, including neo-Nazi and white supremacy networks.
Chief Syahardiantono underscored that law enforcement remains systematic and proactive, rejecting the “no viral, no justice” perception.
