Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Commander of the Indonesian Military (TNI) General Tandyo Budi Revita has assured the public that free nutritious meals (MBG) produced by the TNI’ nutrition service unit (SPPG) kitchens are safe and of high quality, following reports of food poisoning in some regions.

“MBG run by the TNI is hygienic. I think the recent news about some nutrition service units being unprofessional does not reflect our program,” he said Friday (26/9/2025), as reported by antaranews.com

Deputy Commander Tandyo emphasized that the TNI-run MBG kitchens follow strict standards, using hygienic ingredients with guaranteed nutritional value. 

Currently, Commander General Agus Subiyanto and chiefs of staff are in Central Java’s Surakarta to inaugurate the nationwide MBG initiative.
