inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo said that President Prabowo Subianto is very committed to developing and encouraging the improvement of Indonesian sports achievements, especially in the international arena.

According to him, the commitment is reflected in the ease of the disbursement process and the value of assistance given to the administrators or main federations of sports branches, which has a total value of IDR 630 billion for two stages and will still increase for the next stage.

"We have conducted a review and I think this is what everyone should appreciate from President Prabowo. From what we have seen on the nominal or figure for sports, we must be grateful and thank God for it. We and the administrators of sports branches are also very happy," said Dito after attending the signing of the cooperation agreement (PKS) between the Ministry of Youth and Sports with the Main Organization of Sports Branches (IOCO) and the National Paralympic Committee of Indonesia (NPCI), in Jakarta, Wednesday (4/30/2025).

He further explained that the assistance provided has been reviewed and adjusted between the needs and capabilities of the Government, in order to improve domestic sports achievements in international events.

"This assistance is certainly in accordance with what is stated in the astacita, where it is clearly stated that the main objective is how to improve achievements in the Olympics and ASEAN Games, as well as the SEA Games as the initial target of all," said the youngest minister in the Red and White Cabinet.
