inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Puan Maharani said that they are looking for the best solution to overcome the problems of online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol), who were holding a large-scale protest in Jakarta on Tuesday (5/20/2025).

According to her, DPR is looking for the best solution that does not cause any party to be harmed.

"And of course we will follow up on what is desired by both parties," said Puan at the parliament complex, quoted by Antaranews.

She said that the online transportation issue was part of the authority of the three commissions in DPR, namely Commission I, Commission V, and Commission XI. They, he said, would follow up on the wishes of both parties, between drivers and application providers.

"So what is best for both parties, we will follow up so that there is a win-win solution," she said.

Even so, she also appealed to ojol drivers to carry out demonstrations in an orderly manner and not disturb public order.
