inp.polri.go.id - Tenggamus. An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude rocked Semaka District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province, on Friday night (9/26/2025) at around 9:55 pm. As a result of the shallow earthquake, at least nine houses were reportedly damaged.
Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari, said that the police are currently continuing the process of collecting data and helping reconstruct the affected houses.
"Last night at around 9:55 pm an earthquake occurred in the Tanggamus Regency area. Several areas were affected and some of the houses were damaged," she said, Saturday (9/27/2025).
A total of 9 houses have been recorded as damaged so far. However, information is still being collected by the authorities.
Yuni added that the police, in collaboration with the local government, have set up several emergency posts to provide direct assistance to affected residents.
"Today, the team is focusing on the evacuation process and rehabilitating the homes of affected people. Thankfully, there have been no reports of casualties so far," she added.
She also urged the public to remain vigilant for possible aftershocks.
