inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment emphasized the importance of women being digitally literate so they can become entrepreneurs by utilizing social media affiliations.

"A very important trend to master is the use of technology, social media," said Leontinus Alpha Edison, Deputy for Coordination of Economic Empowerment and Migrant Worker Protection on Tuesday (9/23/2025).

This effort is crucial considering the rapid development of technology, making marketing of MSME products possible through many methods.

"If something goes viral, it's analogous to branding, so people know it better. But there's another important aspect: using technology, social media, and digital media for sales purposes," said Alpha.

He appreciated the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) for initiating affiliate marketing training at the event.

"This is an idea from DWP. They want women to be able to learn more, be more optimal in issues regarding affiliation, issues regarding the use of digital technology," said Alpha.

The event participants were women entrepreneurs of MSMEs, people with disabilities, content creators, mothers of the Dharma Wanita Association (DWP) of the Coordinating Ministry for PM, and employees of the Coordinating Ministry for PM.
