inp.polri.go.id - The East Java Regional Police destroyed evidence of narcotics from April to mid-August 2022 such as methamphetamine, ecstasy, hard drugs and marijuana. Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Dirmanto, said the total evidence that they have secured are 236.79 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 11 thousand pills of ecstasy, 16.8 million pills, and 57 kilograms of marijuana, on Thursday (25/08/2022). Director of Drug Investigation of the East Java Police, Commissioner Arie Ardian Rishadi, added that several major cases and developments will be carried out which were successfully uncovered by the police ranks. “The evidence of 90,7 kg of methamphetamine and 13,3 kg of marijuana were secured from international drug network of Cambodia and Malaysia which entered through Riau, then spread to Palembang, Jakarta, and to Surabaya. From that disclosure, we secured seven suspects,” said Commissioner Arie Ardian. The second case, continued Commissioner Arie, was the disclosure made by the Surabaya Tanjung Perak Port Police with 39 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 49,000 ecstasy pills, and 11.2 million LL double pills, with three suspects.
