East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Nanang Avianto reaffirmed the East Java Regional Police's commitment to supporting the Reform of the Indonesian National Police (INP) during a special working visit from Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the HQ.
"We welcome the DPR RI Commission III Special Working visit to the East Java Regional Police. We are fully committed to supporting the spirit of reform and are very open to any input, suggestions, and constructive criticism," said Nanang on Friday (1/30/2026).
He emphasized that, with the spirit of Jogo Jatim, they gave their full support to the Reform of the Indonesian National Police (INP) and are committed to implementing the new Criminal Code (KUHP) and Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP).
"We ensure that the implementation of KUHP and KUHAP will be carried out professionally, accountably, and fairly, thereby providing legal certainty and meeting the public's expectations for humane and integrity-based law enforcement," explained Chief Nanang.
He explained that throughout 2025, the security and public order in East Java was maintained safely and conducively thanks to the collaboration of all elements of society and the East Java Regional Leadership Coordination Forum.
Furthermore, he continued, the East Java Regional Police are ready to ensure legal certainty and investment throughout their jurisdiction through a Precision Police approach for the welfare of the community.
