Indonesian Embassy Monitors Murder Case of Indonesian Woman in Malaysia

Inp.polri.go.id -  Kuala Lumpur. The Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has been closely monitoring the investigation of an alleged murder involving an Indonesian woman in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Yoshi Iskandar, the Coordinator of Socio-Cultural Affairs at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, confirmed that the victim held Indonesian nationality and that the embassy has contacted her family in Indonesia, informing them about the autopsy procedures for investigative purposes, antaranews.com reported/ The Malaysian police have conducted an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death and for further investigative needs. Consequently, the victim's remains cannot be repatriated to Indonesia, he said. Yoshi explained that the Malaysian police have questioned several Indonesian workers residing in the same unit as the victim The body of the 19-year-old victim, which sustained injuries on her neck, chest, and both hands, was found near the stairs of an apartment in Petaling Jaya.
