inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Communication and Digital will deploy frequency monitoring cars to monitor frequency usage and address potential interference in cellular networks, especially in areas with dense homecoming travelers such as airports, ports, and toll roads.
These frequency monitoring cars are to ensure that cellular services during the long holiday season of Nyepi and Eid 2025 remain optimal so that people's holiday trips remain comfortable.
"We plan to also dispatch frequency monitoring cars together with our friends from cellular operators, so we will strengthen our collaboration for this year’s smooth homecoming," said the Minister of Communication and Digital, Meutya Hafid on Saturday (3/22/2025).
According to her, the Communication and Digital Ministry has held several meetings with cellular operators to ensure that communication services can run smoothly without any disruptions.
In addition to ensuring network stability, the ministry has also asked cellular operators to provide additional support for the community during homecoming, by providing communication tariff discounts of up to 50 percent for prepaid and postpaid services.
"We also appreciate our cellular operator friends who have joined us in this commitment," she explained.
At the end of the opportunity, she also asked the community who are going home to check on Mudikpedia to get various information needed during the homecoming trip.
