inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Class I Special Immigration Office of Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Tangerang, operates 98 units of autogate immigration inspection machines at the airport to support the smooth running of the 2025 Eid homecoming transportation.

Head of the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office, Johanes Fanny Satri explained that his party has also prepared 531 personnel to ensure the immigration process runs smoothly and quickly.

"Immigration services are ready to face the surge in the number of passengers during the Nyepi and Eid holidays in 2025," he explained on Saturday (3/22/2025).

On this occasion, he said that during the Eid homecoming period, he will deploy more officers for extra security at a number of vital points in the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport area.

He said this preparation was to anticipate the huge wave of arrival from migrant workers and the Indonesian diaspora who would return to their home country.

Johanes also mentioned that officers at the autogate machines have been given instructions to be on standby to help the people during the long queues.

"The high volume of passengers has the potential to cause long queues during immigration checks. In this case, we  ask the public to remain calm, orderly, and cooperative when undergoing immigration checks," he explained.

In addition, the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office continues to operate the passport acceleration service unit to support prospective international passengers whose passports are valid for less than 6 months.

He emphasized that all immigration checks at this airport are free from extortion and gratification. Johanes even urged the public to avoid giving tip money and immediately report if they found any extortion practices.
