inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom), Muhammad Qodari, emphasized that evaluation is a crucial part of governance to ensure all priority programs are implemented effectively and provide tangible benefits to the public.
According to Qodari, the evaluation conducted by President Prabowo Subianto and members of the Red and White Cabinet during the Plenary Cabinet Meeting last week aims to measure the achievements of government programs while identifying various challenges and improvements that are still needed.
"Through evaluation, the government can understand what has gone well, what still needs to be improved, the challenges faced, and the steps that need to be taken to overcome them," Qodari said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (7/28/2026).
During this evaluation, the government completed the Balikpapan Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) project, inaugurated the Masela Abadi Gas Project, which had been delayed for 28 years, and launched the B50 fuel as part of efforts to strengthen national energy sovereignty.
Furthermore, the government also highlighted achievements in community economic empowerment through the inauguration of 1,061 Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDMP) and 100 Red and White Fishing Villages (KNMP) throughout this year.
In the area of public services, the government has made progress through the development of Public Service Malls (MPP), which are now available in 313 regencies/cities, providing 150 types of services in one location.
According to Qodari, the MPP eliminates the need for people to queue for hours or travel from one office to another to handle various administrative services.
The government also continues to accelerate digital transformation, including the digitization of social protection programs, which are currently implemented in 43 regencies/cities across 26 provinces. He stated that around 1 million families have now registered in the system, out of a target of 12.5 million families.
"Previously, processing various documents and registering for assistance would cost a family around IDR 150,000. Now, the process is free," said Qodari.
Qodari emphasized that these achievements are not merely about meeting administrative targets, but also demonstrate the government's continued work to improve public welfare.
The government also views evaluation as a healthy work culture and a mechanism to ensure that all priority programs continue to run according to President Prabowo's directives.
Therefore, Qodari continued, the evaluation results will not change the government's commitment to national priority programs.
