The Director of General Criminal Investigation of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency, Brigadier General Djuhandani Raharjo Puro reveals Head of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) Benny Rhamdani never reveal the identity of the man behind the initials of T. He even says that Benny has changed several of his past statement during his second examination.

"At first he said that he got the information from one of the victim who worked in Cambodia, now he said that he got the information from Joko Purwanto, who was Head of Serang BP2MI and he has passed away," said Djuhandani on Monday (8/5/2024) night.

According to Djuhandini, Benny says that he did not convey clearly to the president, INP Chief, and even the previous Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of Indonesia about who was T. He pledges that he will offer an apology to the media as he was saying he will say who is T on the first police examination.

“I asked him again about what he meant and he said he did not know and he apologized. He did not tell us who is the man behind the initials T and he will directly apologize to the media,” said the Djuhadani.

Following this revelation, Djuhandani felt that it was enough to examine Benny. Next, investigators will evaluate whether to continue to search for the mysterious man or not.
