inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly says a quality human resource would be the foundation to realize 2045 Golden Indonesia.

“The grand vision of 2045 Golden Indonesia must be supported with adequate human resources because if not, it would just be a dream,” says Minister Yasonna on Monday (8/5/2024).

Therefore, the government is pushing five efforts to improve the human resource quality, particularly for the year 2024, 2029, and 2034, which will be the momentum for Indonesia to advance.

The first effort is pushing education that centers around developing relevant skills. Yasonna highlights that in building quality human resources requires good education, the education that not only thought about theories, but also teaching practical and relevant skills.

Next is to push equal access for education. Yasonna says that no children should be marginalized as it is part of their constitutional rights even though they have economic or geographical limitations.

The third effort is to push the human resources to have strong character with high integrity, have great social responsibility, as well as a passion to contribute to the progress of the nation and the progress of humanity at large.

Then, pushing the human resource to be able to collaborate and work in a team. In a world that is more connected and complex, the capabilities to work together will be the key for advancement.

Then lastly, the government will push the human resource to have a joint grand vision as a quality human resource did not only think about themselves.

“They have the spirit to continue to learn and adapt with changes, and are ready to face global challenges with full confidence,” concludes Yasonna.
