inp.polri.go.id - North Sumatra. The investigators of Depok Sub-regional Police accompanied by doctors from North Sumatra Regional Police Medical Unit exhumed the body of Ella Nanda who died from liposuction surgery gone wrong.

“Yes, this morning we will exhume the body. The medical team is already prepared at the location,” said the North Sumatra Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Hadi Wahyudi on Monday (8/5/2024).

He explains that 20 personnel have been deployed to oversee the exhumation process.

“Exhumation was carried out in the name of justice and was performed by officials where the body will be investigated by forensic doctors,” explains Hadi.

Hadi ensures that the body will be buried again following the exhumation process. He also assures that the exhumation process was watched by Ella’s family.
