inp.polri.go.id - Padang. Public policy observer from Andalas University, West Sumatra Aidinil Zetra highlighted the various challenges faced by Indonesia on the momentum of the 117th National Awakening Day, especially regarding the fulfillment of food self-sufficiency.
"There are many challenges faced by Indonesia, one of which is the fulfillment of basic needs," said public policy observer from Unand Aidinil Zetra in Padang, Tuesday.
This was conveyed by Aidinil who also conveyed his views on the commemoration of the 117th National Awakening Day. This year the government carries the theme "Rise Together to Realize a Strong Indonesia", reflecting the commitment to overcome challenges collectively and move towards a more independent and just country.
According to Aidinil, currently Indonesia still has dependence on other countries to bring in food needs. In fact, President Prabowo Subianto is determined to make Indonesia the world's food source
Not only about food, Aidinil also highlighted regulations, technology and others that are still problems until now. Therefore, the commemoration of the 117th National Awakening Day must truly be a comprehensive evaluation and reflection for policy makers to make Indonesia advanced and just.
According to him, the various problems still faced by Indonesia cannot only be burdened on the central government alone, but education, religious, cultural and other stakeholders are required to contribute ideas and appropriate solutions.
"We need to rise together in answering these various challenges," he said.
For your information, every May 20th Indonesia commemorates this date as National Awakening Day, a history that marks the beginning of awareness to fight for independence and national unity.
