Indonesia’s men’s doubles pair Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri won the BWF World Tour Super 1000 China Open 2025 title after defeating Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik in straight games at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou, on Sunday (27/7/2025).
“We played with full confidence and maintained focus from the start. This win means a lot—it's our first Super 1000 title this year,” he said after their 21-15, 21-14 victory, sealed in just 34 minutes, as reported by antaranews.com.
The Indonesian duo dominated both games, with early leads of 9-1 and 11-2 in the first, and consistent control in the second, closing it 21-14. Their victory was Indonesia’s sole title at the 2025 China Open.
