inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo will provide compensation to the families of the three members who died on duty while prosecuting the cockfighting case.

The three members are Nagara Batin Way Sector Police Chief Lusiyanto, Senior Brigadier Petrus, and Second Brigadier Ghalib.

“This letter from the police chief says that the families of the three fallen members will be given compensation,” says the Head of Public Information Bureau of INP Public Relations, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko on Tuesday (3/18/2025).

For Nagara Batin Way Sector Police Chief Lusiyanto and Senior Brigadier Petrus Apriyanto compensation will be given to their wives as their beneficiary. Meanwhile, compensation for Ghalib Surya Ganta will be given to his mother.

It is known that the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has promoted the three fallen members with Extraordinary Posthumous Promotion (KPLB). This was stated in Decree Number KEP/500/III/2025 dated March 18, 2025.

Trunoyudo said that the death of the three personnel  left a deep sadness for the police institution as a whole. They died while carrying out their duties of devotion to the country.
